Shirley Ann Beard lovingly known as ‘Shirley Mae’ was born December 6, 1940 and passed away January 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Churchill Downs will honor her by having her lie in repose in the Kentucky Derby Museum in the Great Hall on Friday, January 24th from 5:30-8:30pm for viewing. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 25th at Community Baptist Church in Newburg (4909 East Indian Trail) at 12noon. She will be buried in Cave Hill Cemetery. A.D.
